Feast for the Eye
The flower crab is a craggy flower,
a rugged history of having crawled the steep journey of love.
The flower crab is deeply rooted into the monitor screen, even the fine roots,
packed tightly with a higher resolution than life.
In an instant, inside the crab shell, whether aware or not,
hot bodily fluids gather hotter than a just steamed potato.
Note on Muse:
The sight of a crab raising both its pincers in an L-shape always looks a little cute. When I was a little boy, I panicked when a small crab bit my finger. I think of the term "flower crab." Perhaps it was created because the crab looks like a flower. Maybe it was, or maybe it wasn't. -2023.03.06

눈요기
꽃게는 우락부락한 꽃이다
가파른 사랑의 행로를 기어온 울퉁불퉁한 내력이다
꽃게가 모니터 화면에 뿌리 깊이, 잔뿌리도 깊게
실물보다 더 촘촘한 해상도로 꽉 박혀있다
게딱지 안쪽으로 순식간에 그러니까, 아주 부지불식중에
금방 찐 감자보다 더 뜨거운 체액이 고인다
시작 노트:
게가 양팔을 니은 자 모양으로 치켜드는 장면은 늘 좀 귀여워 보인다. 어릴 적 조그만 게에게 손가락을 물리고 기겁을 한 적이 있다. 꽃게라는 단어를 생각한다. 게가 꽃처럼 보여서 생긴 말일까. 그럴 수도 있고 아닐 수도 있다.
