A Cabriolet

 

On a day when the sky came down to sit low

A midsummer afternoon adjusting its dress

On a day when a few birds flew small

Over the dense grey clouds

The wind held its breath by a reed forest

 

The reeds much unreservedly

The reeds much undemonstratively

The wind they were stirring up quietly

The wind missing on an unpaved road in the field

There stood still for a while a red colored cabriolet

하늘이 낮게 내려 앉은 어느 날

한여름이 옷깃을 여미는 오후 

새 몇 마리 짙은 회색 구름 너머로

조그맣게 날아가는 어느 날

바람이 갈대 숲에서 잠시 숨을 죽였지

 

갈대들이 아무 거리낌없이

갈대들이 아무런 내색함이 없이

바람을 조용하게 일으키고 있었지

바람 한점 없는 들판 비포장 도로에

빨간색 오픈카 한 대 한동안 서 있었지
