|Poem| Secondary Elaborations on Dreams

서 량 2018. 6. 18. 03:47

Mental illness is alive and well. A half-moon is sending me a glance. You don’t have to think deep to realize this is a proof that our souls are now on the safe track. It is following the desperate helter-skelter attempts of ours to capture the stars that were falling out of the firmament.

I am feeling very comfortable.

Maybe I don’t need passionate interpretations anymore.

The armor of mental illness protects our souls with great care. The half-moon is even sending me a faint smile. Several birds looking very tiny from a distance are flying away in a cluster. It is because we can’t leave the scene of the dreams that are more real than real no matter how efficacious medications we may be taking.
