A Furtive Thought

 

A huge cloud covers the right side of my sight. A few raindrops are falling. I believe it is okay that I have a little excessive feeling towards you. From the left side of the sky a handful of sunrays pour down. My fantasy flies over the far away forest behind the spacious parking lot stark explicit. I want to let you know that I am given to dislike poems with the theme toiling to capitalize on frail emotions.

 

I can see you made a point that cars all have four legs. This poem depicts a man moving on all fours in the parking lot. It is a sight of a frog crawling along, his belly hugging the asphalt tight. I don't think there is a great difference between the sky you stare lying prostrate with your head up and the sky a mental hospital safety officer in blue is looking up, his legs in an upside down V posture.

 

A large raindrop smears my eyeglasses. The 8 story building in a low mood is observing my back alow and aloft. My left shoulder sags because of the weight of the aluminum attaché. The parking lot is quiet. The angle of rain changes from vertical to 45 degrees. Simultaneous with this, poems of Kim So-Wal and Yoon Dong-Joo are becoming unpalatable. There may be some reasons, but they too are downright hypocrites. Simultaneously walking with me on all fours.

은근한 생각

 

커다란 구름이 오른쪽 시야를 반쯤 덮는다 빗방울 몇 알 떨어진다 당신을 향한 내 마음만큼은 좀 지나치게 먹어도 괜찮으리라 믿는다 왼쪽 하늘에서 햇살이 한줌 씩 쏟아진다 넓은 주차장 뒤 먼 숲으로 날아가는 내 환상은 아주 노골적이다 유약한 감성을 주제 삼아 아등바등 쓰는 시가 싫어진다고 나는 당신에게 알려주고 싶다

 

자동차들이 한결같이 발이 넷이라는 사실에 착안점을 두었네요 이 시는 사람이 주차장에서 네 발로 움직이는 그림입니다 배를 아스팔트에 밀착한 개구리 한 마리가 엉금엉금 기어가는 모습이에요 당신이 엎드린 채 고개 들어 치켜보는 하늘이나 푸른 제복의 정신병원 안전요원이 양다리를 브이(V)자로 엎어 놓은 자세로 올려보는 하늘이 크게 다르지 않아요

 

굵은 빗방울이 안경알에 묻는다 기분이 저조한 8층 건물이 내 등을 샅샅이 살핀다 알루미늄 손가방 무게 때문에 왼쪽 어깨가 밑으로 쳐진다 주차장은 조용하다 빗살의 각도가 수직이었다가 45도로 바뀐다 이와 때를 같이하여 김소월과 윤동주의 시가 꺼림칙해진다 무슨 이유가 있겠지마는 그들 또한 형편없는 위선자들이다 나와 때를 같이하여 네 발로 걸어가는
