|Poem| The Passport Expiration Date

It was an insight shaking the flesh

When I was given the news in Kennedy Airport at midnight amidst the summer

Unbeknownst to me the freedom of my travelling had expired

That frightened the living daylights out of me

 

Not only the searchlight was severing the sleepless night but the table where a hungry nighttime meal was laid on was giving out delicious roasted fish smell all over At the same time the dense fog was pacing around the tall trees outside of my study in batches They stealthily swam at the periphery of my vain power of imagination swinging their darkish fins

 

About two days later up in the hot Pacific sky

In a misty glance I was searching the soup afloat with dough flakes

Underneath my feet whilst somebody kept watching me

Ruthlessly as if it were
