Different Person
-- To the woman in “In Front of the Mirror” painted by Matisse (1908)
Face similar to hers
Completely different face
Seems to show signs of fondness
Hand on the slightly open dark brown drawer
In a neat square mirror Woman with wide open eyes
Note on the Muse:
You too think about it. The I inside the mirror is
a completely different person. Matisse too might
have thought it. Maybe not. It's solely my imagination.
