Tray lying at the bottom of yellow curtain
Thrown in a mountain-sized tray
Two pieces of lemon
Woman in sweet sleep
A long string laid on the woman’s back
A deep yellow serpent embraces the shoulder
Note on the Muse:
Matisse's fantasy is about a sleeping woman.
Not an active fantasy but still-life like fantasy.
