Gazing
-- To “Woman with Her Hair down” painted by Matisse (1944)
Where the light penetrates Where it’s bright
Hair all messed up
Eyes fixed on one spot
I am nowhere I really don't have any thoughts
Woman covering her lips with hands held together
Note on the Muse:
The eyes of the Matisse’s woman are firm. That’s why I like her.
Even though she seems that way, her thoughts are everywhere.
