Black Skirt
-- To the woman in Matisse's painting "The Reader on a Black Background" (1939)
Woman’s appearance from behind Deep-red flowers feeling empty
The world inside the wall mirror is downright different
Two chicken legs
Tight-fitting shoes
From the table with two cacti proudly perched on it, etc.
Note on the Muse:
In a Matisse painting where a woman appears to be dozing with her legs crossed,
the flowers and vase reflected in the mirror are downright different from the real thing.
