Pillars of Lights
-- To the "Young Girl with Pink Dress" painted by Matisse (1942)
Lights A few bundles of lights
Graduation marks resisting against the green pillars
Color black The force of thin graduation marks
With no eyes nose or mouth Color pink woman’s force
The chair fluttering buoyant up in the air
The force of massive armchair
Note on the Muse:
One day in 1942, Matisse's woman with no eyes nose or mouth
Sitting on the edge of the armchair pressed down with her hand
