Room
-- To “Woman in White Dress” painted by Matisse (1941)
Room full of sky Greenish-sky-blue clouds
Dog-legged chair Room where a bright yellow chair floats
The ground is mustard Fresh mustard color
The woman's face is less than a tenth of her white dress
There’s nothing from neck to the top of head, right?
Note on the Muse:
There are times when the yellow that Matisse uses feels like mustard.
His soft lines are also like that. Even a chair looks like bread as well.
