Army Medical Officer’s Badge

-- To the woman in “Violet in Harmony” painted by Matisse (1923)

 

Violet close to pink

Crayon color close to brownish yellow

Several hands with short-cut fingernails touch the wall

Spread, over the woman’s brown, brown hair

In the color of cactus, cactus color

I see army medical officer’s badge, the wings of a dove

 

Note on the Muse:

The wings of a dove are as if to spread over the Matisse's woman’s head.

Following an optical illusion, as if the badge of medical officer days seen.
