Daisy
-- To the woman in “Daisies” painted by Matisse (1939)
A flower vase embracing daisy
Deep white daisy
Egg flower, Gaemahngcho flower, The center
Egg yolk, the Unconscious
Woman's face turns red almost smiling, maybe not
In the inner chamber where the body is being afloat
Note on the Muse:
Matisse said, “I cannot copy nature in a servile way. I must see it, interpret it,
subdue it to the the spirits of the picture.” This is to be applied to poetry 100%.
