Clockwise

 

Crimson moonlight
Pierces the night sky, entrancing
Slowly, a galaxy turning to the right
Octopus’ tentacles in figure-8
Approaching the python, the silk snake, at dawn
Your curiosity toward the Hudson River
Is a deep-water, deep-water deficiency

 

Poetry Note:

I have a habit of looking out at the Hudson River at dawn.

A time when I’m not at all interested in knowing what I think.
