Speaking Briefly

 

Tied ties, all of us
An afternoon of confusion, a bouquet embraced
Psychiatrists with doctors’ smiles
Isn’t your mind clearing?
They say it was already all in Greek mythology
The chant you and I recite

In our uninformed, lowdown storytelling
